Julie coaches leaders from the basis of building on their career experience, their professional expertise and their personal style and intuition. By guiding them to an understanding of the impact of their leadership style, she creates scenarios with her clients which open new possibilities to building effective teams.
Julie’s approach to coaching is based upon her Board-level HR experience in retail, hospitality, professional services and media. Typically, assignments covered organisation redesign, change leadership and HR strategy and policy. Board advisory roles included membership of the Remuneration Committee of a successful UK university.
Working independently since 2000 as a Consultant, Interim Director, Independent Adviser and Coach & Mentor, Julie combines her industry experience with the best coaching methods studied at Henley Business School and carefully tailored psychometric-based feedback. Additionally, Julie brings insights gained from study and qualification in the techniques of systemic therapy and person-centred therapy as they apply to career success. The principles of solution-focused coaching underpin Julie’s approach to creating a bespoke coaching programme for every client.
From the basis of her career in HR, Julie also offers Mentoring programmes for individuals in senior HR roles, typically following promotion to an HR leadership position and supports their CPD as they build their portfolio of skills.
Julie has recently been appointed as a Trustee Director of a local charity which is undergoing significant change following a merger of two smaller charities.
